Heritage Education Network Belize brought Belizean heritage to Europe at the ESACH Talks on Sustainable Tourism.
The Talks were sponsored by ESACH (European Students’ Association for Cultural Heritage), Europa Nostra and Our World Heritage.
The goal was to present young and innovative perspectives on sustainable tourism and its relationship to cultural heritage.
Our co-director, Ella Békési was invited to speak about how Heritage Education Network Belize can find sustainable solutions through the collaboration between Cultural Heritage and Tourism disciplines. As well as about how we see cultural heritage as essential to reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
