KULCHA 2023 Call for Abstracts is Open!
It’s happening! Heritage Education Network Belize is hosting our third annual Belize KULCHA Symposium virtually from September 7th-8th, 2023. We invite young academics, citizen researchers, activists, artists and indigenous or community representatives to submit their abstracts in order to be selected to present at the 2023 KULCHA Symposium.
KULCHA stands for ‘Keeping Up with Language, Culture, Heritage and the Arts, which means that we will host a wide variety of presentations relating to 1) language, literature, and poetry, 2) culture and cultural heritage (tangible and intangible), archaeology, anthropology, 3) heritage and history (including natural heritage), and 4) fine and creative arts in Belize.
We encourage interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue in the fields of Culture and Heritage and aim to create a virtual space for scholars and interested persons to present their ideas for lay and academic audiences alike.
To apply, submit your abstract by the 18th of June, 2023 via our form by clicking below.
