Heritage Education Network Belize visited UNESCO Headquarters on the 7th of March 2024 to watch the premiere of a new documentary titled “Her Education, Our Future”. The film follows the educational paths of four young women - Anee, Fabiana, Mkasi and Tainá - from different corners of the world.

As an NGO founded by and led by women, we are working towards accessibility and a better understanding of the importance of heritage education. The documentary we watched was truly inspiring and confirmed what we knew all along: If you educate just one woman, you educate a whole community. A special thank you to the four great young women who shared their stories in the film!
